Nhan Lam, Director of Photography Programs & Board President

Nhan holds a B.A. from Simon Fraser University in Political Science and Women’s Studies. She has experience in coordinating and implementing international projects related to gender equity. Before joining PWB, she supported thecoordination and conceptualization of a global youth engagement strategy, and produced various publications in partnership with Plan International and UN-HABITAT. Her work over the years has solidified her commitment to creating safe and sustainable communities that are inclusive of everyone. Nhan is especially passionate about engaging, empowering, and working with young people, in particular marginalized adolescent girls, to address critical development issues.
Shani Holland, Director of Events & Sponsorship

Shani Holland is an island girl from the Bahamas who moved to Canada about five years ago in search of greater opportunities. She graduated from Western University with an Honor’s Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. While attending university, she was elected the Sponsorship Liaison and later promoted to Vice President of Events for the Caribbean Students Organization. Her passion for bringing people together, helping others and making people aware of international injustice in the world is what enticed her to become an active member of Photographers Without Borders.
Pam Forster, Marketing Coordinator

Pamela Forster is a fourth year University of Toronto student, majoring in Media and Minoring in Visual Arts. Her passion for photography has led her to position of Marketing Coordinator at Photographers Without Borders. An avid reader and writer, Pamela uses her travelling experiences as inspiration for her photography and creative projects. She currently is head photographer and creative consultant for Sara Ghadaki, a Toronto based fashion line. Pamela is also a strong advocate for gender equality, education for girls, and animal welfare.
Giulia Langella, Social Media Coordinator

Giulia was born and raised in Italy, in a small town of 500 people in Tuscany where her parents owned the town restaurant/inn/bar where, as per italian tradition, she was regularly employed. Giulia involved herself in the arts from an early age, and when she moved to Canada she attended Etobicoke School of the Arts majoring in Drama. After taking a year off and living in the Middle East she decided to study Peace and Conflict Studies and International Development at the University of Waterloo and hopes to focus on Water Conflict Management in her graduate studies. Her passion for travel and social change organically led her to discover the wonders of using Social Media as a tool to prompt different movements in both local and international communities.
Marisol Fornoni, Grants Officer

Marisol Fornoni holds a Bachelors degree from York University in International Development studies and Latin American and Caribbean studies and a Masters degree in Gender, Development and Globalization from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is interested in all things gender, working at a grassroots community level and working towards sustainability through exploring models of social entrepreneurship. Marisol has extensive experience in fundraising and project coordination. She interested in contributing in any way she can to the work of amazing organizations like PWB that are bringing about positive social change in truly innovative ways.
Seba Haddad, Middle East Coordinator

Seba is a Canadian of Iraqi decent who is a graphic designer by profession and is currently residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Her academic background includes Visual Communication Studies at St. Clair College, Windsor, Ontario and Art Direction at The Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. In conjunction with her cross-cultural background and multilingual capabilities, Seba has earned the deep understanding and moral values of the aforementioned cultures and societies and aspires to bridge the gap and inspire unity and humanity throughout the world. A big believer in using her creative talents for positive influence, Seba has always been passionate about projects for charitable causes throughout her professional career and is excited to take her philanthropic journey further with PWB.
